About MyHormoneGuide

We built this site because we were tired of watching people suffer through symptoms that have solutions — and we wanted to give them the information they needed to ask better questions and find better care.

Our Mission

MyHormoneGuide exists to be the most comprehensive, trustworthy, and empathetic patient education resource for Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy on the internet. We serve women 40–65 navigating perimenopause and menopause, and men 45–65 experiencing hormone decline — two audiences that have historically been underserved by conventional medicine.

Our goal is not to push you toward any specific treatment, clinic, or product. Our goal is to make sure that when you sit down with a healthcare provider, you know what questions to ask — and you can recognize a good answer from a bad one.

How We Approach Content

Every article on MyHormoneGuide is built on the following principles:

  • Evidence-first. We cite published research, established medical consensus, and recognized clinical guidelines. We don't cite fabricated studies or cherry-pick data to support a predetermined conclusion.
  • Patient-focused language. We explain medical concepts in plain English without dumbing them down. If we use a clinical term, we define it.
  • Honest about uncertainty. BHRT exists in an area of genuine scientific debate. We present multiple perspectives where they exist, and we clearly label what is established vs. what is emerging or contested.
  • No prescriptive recommendations. We frame everything as education, not medical advice. We will never tell you that a specific treatment is right for you — only a qualified provider who knows your full health picture can do that.
